Introduction. Dynamic Economic Emission Dispatch is the extended version of traditional economic emission dispatch problem in which ramp rate taken into account for limit generators a power network. Purpose. considered treats economy and emissions as competitive targets optimal problems, to reach solution it requires some conflict resolution. Novelty. The decision-making method solve has goal each objective function, this purpose, multi-objective transformed single optimization by using weighted sum then control/solve Whale Optimization Algorithm. Methodology. This paper presents newly developed metaheuristic technique based on Algorithm problem. main inspiration fact that algorithms are becoming popular day because their simplicity, no gradient information requirement, easily bypass local optima, can be used variety other problems. algorithm includes all possible factors will yield minimum cost efficient operation proposed approach performs well perform diverse converge near best solution. Results. strategy validated simulating MATLAB® 5 IEEE standard test system. Numerical results show capabilities establish an several runs. shows good performance over recently such Multi-Objective Neural Network trained with Differential Evolution, Particle swarm optimization, evolutionary programming, simulated annealing, Pattern search, differential evolution, hybrid evolution annealing technique.
